BEEGO

Beego is a platform that deploys trained IT students at home or on location (digipoints) to assist people with all things digital. Anyone who has difficulty with digital devices or applications can call on a student from Beego, who will come to their location by appointment, to provide personal guidance. This can range from learning how to e-mail, setting up a computer or smartphone correctly, explaining websites and a learning platform, to more advanced interventions such as completely resetting a computer. The students patiently explain everything in order to teach people digital skills. Beego offers personalised 1-to-1 digital assistance at home or in digipoints, with the aim of making people digitally self-reliant.

Beego finds it important that service providers who market digital technology also take their responsibility in the field of e-inclusion. This is exactly what DigitAll strives for. In addition to social organisations and governments, service providers are now also joining forces to reduce the digital divide. This also gives visibility to smaller, local initiatives that are very valuable. It allows these initiatives to be rolled out on a larger scale and achieve more impact.

Beego has developed the digicheque. With this, a partner or local government can tailor digital assistance to the income of the target group. In this way, everyone can make use of the ultimate tool in the digital world: a personal expert who comes to help with the obstacles experienced when using digital service tools. Digicheques are used for services at home, but can also be used to organise pop-up digipoints. This way, one can quickly respond to current needs. Do you get many questions about the Covidsafe app, for example, or about comparing energy suppliers or another specific app? Beego quickly sets up a 'digipoint' at the partner's location or at the municipal counter to offer customised support.
